Default TWS pics are up

I sorted through the batch and picked out 4 or 5 of each person.
Ryan sorry, I didn't get any pics of your TT. Weird, but I never took the camera to the wall during a red run. Didn't dawn on me til I uploaded the pics.
Kang, I only got 3. I went ahead and uploaded the full size pics.

Yeah my luck at TWS continues to be bad.
5 years ago, I got about 1/2 of a session (4 runs) in green.
This year I got about 1/4 of session (2 runs) in blue.

I just checked my incar videos. I ran a 2:15 and a 2:14 on my last two laps before the engine sprung a leak.

So far the cams look okay. I'll do a leakdown test tonight and I'll know more.

How did the last yellow/blue runs go ? Had to leave, any more problems with oil on the track or any other issues ?
I'm answering this question in this thread, so we aren't talking about the same event in four different threads. The mods might want to converge them, but whatever.

They coned the right side of the track from halfway between T4 and T5 to halfway between T5 and T6 and then put that zone under a yellow flag. It didn't really affect anything too much. Speeds were down, but there was still plenty of room to get setup for T6 and the long back straight.

The last session of the day was the best. Everything came together nicely. Eric, Ryan and I spent the session horsing around with each other. When we were finished, we were all jumping around, laughing and hugging each other - you would of thought we had just won Le Mans. That was a seriously good time.

I'll try to file a full report soon. Let's see more photos. Kim didn't get too many, but I'll post what I got later tonight (probably).

Jimmy

Yeh, I should have justed passed right away. I knew the checker was coming up and I was going to stay behind you and watch your line...

BTW that lap chasing you down was my best for that session, a 2:15.85. My best lap of the event was third session Sunday when I had a Lotus Elise chasing me and managed a 2:15.03. Unfortunately after that lap my rear tires got too hot and started to give up so I had to slow down and let the Elise go.

The last session was a blast too. I was trying to keep up with Andrew (who was VERY quick in his V6 mustang) but I cooked my brake rotors and the resulting bad vibration during braking meant I had to let him go.

Overall Sunday was much better than Saturday. Saturday was very frustrating. I had trouble finding my groove mostly because I was slower than everyone else in my group and kept having to let people pass every passing zone. Plus I was nervous about exceeding the limits of the S4 and wrecking. Sunday when I moved to the slower blue run group the pressure came off and eventually I said "screw it" and started to explore the limits of the S4. I was pleasantly surprised (even though it is a understeering pig)! LOL A 2:15 is a respectable time for a stock car running street tires. I will definitely miss my yellow bomber.
