I'd rather be seeing them speeding up coming down off it actually - better chance for passing out of the corner and on the downhill striaght, plus the possiblity of an exciting finish. Also, when all the crashes happen up there no one will be able to see - neither drivers, who will still be accelerating - nor the spectators.
