Default RGV section is up and running!

ShadowA4 who is TT3.2's (Sigi) nephew will be the moderator in the Rio Grande Valley section and will be able to send out emails about events etc.

If you already on TAG and in the RGV and would like to be on that email list you will need to change your setting related to your location in your account details (give us a couple of days to get that part changed)

Congrats to you for getting a new dealership in the valley!

Thank you so very much for setting this up! I will be notifying the Audi owners here in my hometown about this new forum section. Hopefully they will start chiming in to this community, and we can build this to be a nice place to set up events and discuss issues / opinions. I'll let other Audi enthusiasts Valley wide know about this as well, as I find the opportunities to drive up to cities like McAllen, Harlingen etc.

I went to the dealership a few weeks back for service. I spoke to some of the service and sales guys, who claim that their numbers are currently ~40 sales per month. Including that into the number of Audi vehicles I see on a daily basis, I would say close to 100, probably more if you include the entire RGV

Default Where to?

Hello, I'm wondering if people here actually meet. I'm between Harlingen and Brownsville and have not seen not a single group of car enthusiasts doing anything. I come from another state where car culture is strong. Let me know if you guys have more info on the matter. Thanks

Hi! Well, I started the RGV section of this forum in the hope that it would bring audi owners of the valley together, and maybe even hold meet-ups or at least online discussions. As you can see, this didn't really take off. I even distributed small flyers to audis I would see around the area letting them know of the forum. With the opening of Audi San Juan a few years ago, the valley has seen a tremendous increase in brand ownership. Still, I don't think most of the people who own audis in this part of the country are that much into the car culture. Mainly I see car groups and enthusiasts for muscle cars and classic cars.

Thanks for the info. I'll check this page periodically to see if anything gets going. Have you tried leaving info with or at the service dept at the Audi sj dealer?, there's always owners there of all walks of life. Good luck!
